Welcome to the Diverse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the nation’s pioneering chamber dedicated to fostering an inclusive business environment. Originally founded as a regional chamber, we recognized the pressing need for support among underserved women and diverse-owned businesses.
Our commitment to empowerment led to our transition into a state chamber, and now we proudly operate as a national platform with members and ambassadors spanning multiple states.
At our core, we believe that economic empowerment is essential for building resilient communities. By providing tailored resources, advocacy, and training, we help micro and small enterprises navigate the unique challenges they face. Our mission is to create an ecosystem where entrepreneurs from all nationalities, backgrounds, ethnicities, and orientations can flourish, ultimately driving innovation and creating jobs within their communities.
Our strategic evolution into a national organization enhances our ability to serve a diverse membership and amplifies our advocacy efforts. With a rich history of championing inclusivity, we have already made a significant impact in states like Virginia, New York, California, and many others. As we expand our reach, we remain dedicated to ensuring that every voice is heard and represented.
The Diverse Chamber is more than just a network; it is a movement that champions collaboration and community building. We facilitate meaningful connections among businesses, government entities, and community organizations, fostering partnerships that strengthen our collective impact. By promoting inclusivity, we not only address the immediate needs of underserved businesses but also work towards long-term social transformation, dismantling barriers and cultivating a more equitable society.
Join us as we envision a vibrant economy where every entrepreneur has equitable access to resources, opportunities, and support. Together, we can empower individuals to transform their businesses and communities for the better.

Every Business Already Operates in a Diverse Marketplace. We Help You Grow — and Be Heard.
The Diverse Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the national chamber of commerce focused on all small businesses, regardless of background. We are open to any small business — with no eligibility gatekeeping by ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, age, neurodivergence, or orientation. But we want to be clear about what that means: we are not a diversity initiative. We’re a small business chamber built around how commerce actually works today.
Commonality over categorization
We don’t sort businesses by identity, background, or category
We connect them by what they actually have in common: the drive to grow, the need for skills, and the value of a wider network
Our name describes the marketplace our members operate in — not a mandate about who they are or how they should think
Training-first, not just advocacy-first
Unlike most chambers, we invest heavily in direct skill-building, not just networking events
We listen — and act on what we hear
Already proven in multiple cities and expanding deliberately into new markets
Complementary, not competitive
We don’t compete with identity-based chambers — we complement them
We serve business owners who don’t fit neatly into a single category, or who want a broader network beyond one.
If your city has a Black, Asian, LGBTQ or Hispanic chamber, a women’s business center, or a veteran’s business alliance, we serve as the connective layer above and alongside them
Members of those organizations can also plug into our national network, training infrastructure, and visibility platform without leaving their existing community
Instead of only measuring how many businesses from a given category were served, we help partners track what actually matters: training completions, revenue growth, capital access, and workforce readiness.
Small business owners who already know their customers, employees, and suppliers come from every walk of life — and who want the tools, training, network, and visibility to grow because of that reality, not despite it.
If your business already sells to, hires from, and buys from a diverse marketplace — and it does — the only question is whether you’re doing it strategically or by accident. That’s what we help you figure out.
The Diverse Chamber of Commerce and Industry has already proven its model in multiple cities and is expanding into markets where local businesses are ready to grow beyond their usual circles.
We’re deliberate about where we go next — building real infrastructure, training, and platforms for visibility, not just adding a logo to a map.
