Eva Tutuc is a passionate advocate for holistic wellness and cultural diversity, serving as the Regional Ambassador for the Southeast region of the Diverse Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As the owner of TheraFlow Health in Virginia Beach, Eva specializes as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, dedicated to supporting the lymphatic system and enhancing overall well-being through innovative therapies.
Originally from Hungary and the former Yugoslavia, Eva’s journey is marked by resilience and a deep commitment to empowering others. Prior to her career in healthcare, she traveled extensively, working to bridge cultural gaps for organizations in East Africa, where she collaborated with NGOs and indirectly with the United Nations to launch global aid initiatives. Her efforts in fundraising for impoverished communities reflect her profound compassion and commitment to social justice.
In 2010, Eva moved to San Diego to support her husband, a board-certified plastic surgeon, where they worked together to provide inclusive care to patients from diverse backgrounds, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. Their practice emphasized creating safe spaces for healing and transformation.
In 2021, Eva and her husband relocated to Virginia, embracing new opportunities to deepen their community connections and continue their dedication to holistic health. As a minority herself, Eva is particularly attuned to the needs of other minority communities, including Black and Hispanic individuals. She actively supports local small businesses and champions cultural contributions, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting diversity.
Fluent in Hungarian and conversational in Yugoslavian, Eva also has a foundation in French, reflecting her multicultural background and inclusive philosophy. Her family’s immigration to Canada as non-English speakers instilled in her the values of perseverance and adaptability, which continue to guide her professional path. In 2018, Eva proudly became an American citizen, marking a significant milestone in her journey.
At TheraFlow Health, Eva specializes in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), pre- and post-operative care, detoxification, and palliative services. She developed the innovative ERAPS (Enhanced Recovery After Plastic Surgery) protocol in collaboration with her husband, combining her expertise with a patient-centered approach.
As a Regional Ambassador for the Diverse Chamber of Commerce, Eva is committed to advocating for collaboration and empowerment across all communities. Her global perspective, dedication to supporting minority voices, and passion for wellness position her as a vital contributor to the enrichment of her community and beyond.
