With a career spanning entrepreneurship, public service, and private sector collaboration, Cheryl is committed to fostering resilient communities through targeted programs, strategic partnerships, and compassionate leadership.

Cheryl’s experience spans Education (30 years of service), where she has been a dedicated educator and administrator shaping outcomes for students, families, and communities, with expertise in curriculum development, student support, and equitable access to quality learning experiences. In the realm of Domestic Violence and Women’s Shelters, she has provided leadership and advocacy for survivors, overseeing program development, safety planning, and community awareness efforts to create secure, supportive environments.

Her work in Substance Use Disorder and Drug Treatment Facilities focuses on program design and implementation that emphasizes recovery, relapse prevention, and holistic care, coordinating with healthcare providers to improve access to treatment and social support services. In Seniors and Aging Services, she has developed senior programs addressing health, wellness, social connection, and independence, partnering with elder care providers to enhance quality of life for older adults. In Food Pantries and Food Security, she has led strategic planning and operations oversight for food distribution networks, ensuring nutritious, reliable access for families and individuals in need. Her leadership in Health and Human Services spans health, housing, employment, and social services, aligning resources to meet community needs and improve outcomes.

Cheryl’s expertise covers Entrepreneurship and the Private Sector through startup mentorship, small business development, and cross-sector collaboration to drive sustainable community impact. In the Public Sector arena, she provides program administration and interagency coordination to scale effective solutions. Her work with Nonprofit and Community-Based Organizations emphasizes capacity building, fundraising strategy, volunteer management, and program evaluation to maximize social return on investment.
