Terresita Gayden, known as Terry, is the President of TPJ Solutions Inc. and serves as the Regional Ambassador for the Southeast Maryland of the Diverse Chamber of Commerce & Industry. With more than 20 years of demonstrated excellence in instructional systems design (ISD), training, evaluation, process improvement, and program management for federal clients, Terry has led initiatives that have transformed federal online learning and advanced health and safety across the Nation.
Her work with federal agencies—including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), NASA’s Engineering and Safety Center (NESC), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s U.S. Fire Administration National Fire Academy (NFA) and Emergency Management Institute (EMI)—has helped build a knowledgeable and skilled workforce prepared to manage fire-related emergencies, minimize disaster impacts, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations that protect patients and providers alike.
Terry brings extensive experience in healthcare, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and partnerships that deliver health program care grounded in best practices. She has a proven track record in training stakeholders to effectively implement and sustain health programs, conducting focus groups and listening sessions to gather insights, and performing landscape analyses to understand the broader context and identify opportunities for improving healthcare delivery. Her work emphasizes collaboration, evidence-based design, and continuous improvement to enhance outcomes for communities served by Southeast Maryland and beyond.
Her leadership as Regional Ambassador centers on building connections among business, government, healthcare, and community organizations to promote economic vitality, public-private partnerships, and robust community health initiatives. Terry is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that amplifies local voices, supports small businesses, and advances regional resilience through education, capability-building, and strategic investment.
