Your feedback will help us assess and rank cities based on their support for small businesses and inclusive environments. Cities will be evaluated using easily accessible information, focusing on 14 key metrics that allow participants to provide meaningful feedback.

The Role of Leadership, Regional Ambassadors and Executive Members

Our Leadership, Executives and Regional Ambassadors play a vital role in championing this initiative. By leveraging their insights and networks, they effectively engage community stakeholders, gather valuable feedback, and promote participation in the voting process.

Facilitating Discussions: Organizing community conversations to gather insights and share best practices.

Outreach Efforts: Encouraging local businesses, chamber members, and residents to contribute their perspectives.

To ensure authenticity and fairness, our surveys will be conducted by ambassadors, executive members, chamber members, and select community stakeholders, guaranteeing unbiased and authentic responses.

2027 Top City Ranking for Small Business Survey

Check whether your city has been selected to participate in the 2027 Top City Ranking for Small Business, an initiative by the Diverse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a national chamber aimed at celebrating and empowering local communities.
 
Key points
 
Selection basis: Based on the localities our Ambassadors and the unique qualities of your city.
 
Purpose: Cities will be ranked, with one designated as the 2027 Top City for Small Business and two runners-up.
 
Citizen engagement: Encourage residents to “Vote For Your City.” Voting provides a valuable opportunity to influence the community’s ranking.
 
Participation impact: Active participation is not required for overall assessment and ranking, but it will influence scoring. Evaluations are conducted fairly by Chamber Executives, Ambassadors, small business owners, community stakeholders, and residents.
 
Recognition for the winner:
  •   Feature on the Cover of DBE Dispatch (national newsletter, >15,000 subscribers)
  •   In-depth Profile in the Newsletter
  •   Award Ceremony in the winner’s city
  •   National Press Release (reaching a broader audience; current reach ~100k visitors)
