We’re thrilled to announce the 2026 Global Connect Caribbean Entrepreneur Training Program, a transformative eight-week virtual journey designed to elevate your business, expand your network, and unlock growth opportunities across Jamaica, Barbados, Belize, Curacao, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and the USA.
The Biz Pitch Competition, a core component helps entrepreneurs sharpen their storytelling, attract investors, and secure potential sponsorships and mentorship.
Why this Programme Matters
Comprehensive skill-building
Participants will develop a robust toolkit across essential business domains, including:
- Strategic business planning, financial literacy, budgeting, and access to capital
- Marketing, branding, and customer value propositions
- Legal considerations, compliance, and risk management
- Cybersecurity, digital literacy, and AI-enabled tools
- Networking with a diverse ecosystem of business leaders, and potential collaborators
Global network access
As part of the program, you’ll receive a complimentary one-year membership to the Diverse Chamber of Commerce and Industry national chamber in the United States, opening doors to valuable resources and tools for small businesses.
Exclusive scholarship opportunities
The first 10 Jamaican and Caribbean students to register will receive a scholarship to attend at no cost. This initiative makes world-class training accessible to driven entrepreneurs who might not otherwise have the means to participate.
What to expect in the program
- Eight weeks of structured learning, live sessions, and practical assignments
- Participants will engage with industry-leading instructors, peers, and mentors from across the Caribbean and the Diaspora. The virtual format ensures flexible access so entrepreneurs can participate from anywhere.
Biz Pitch Competition: a highlight of the program
Throughout the eight weeks, individuals will prepare investor-ready pitches. The competition will spotlight problem-solution fit, go-to-market strategy, financial projections, and measurable impact. A panel of judges from the DCCI network will provide feedback.
